Swimming in Gambier, Ohio, in the pool of their arch-rival Kenyon College, the Denison swim teams were not fazed by the hostile environment. In fact, the Big Red men's and women's swim teams thoroughly dominated their nemesis as they both captured first-place titles at the NCAC Relays on Saturday.
Speed. Smarts. Style. Peter Shorten combines all of these elements out on the soccer field. As one of this year's team captains, the men's soccer senior midfielder has been one of the main reasons for the Big Red's success. Aside from his 10 total points so far this season, Shorten has stepped up as an offensive as well as team leader.

Their 9-4 overall mark is their best record since 2007, when they finished the regular season at 10-6.
